A new wave of leadership is at the door. Infiltrating slowly but steadily through East Kareteng. We are gravely disputing self-elected youth leaders who dont dance to the tune of the people. I was mesmerized to the point of death when a certain youth worn-out youth proclaimed himself as the youth leader of East Karateng. Political demagogues cannot lead us. I refuse. They endear themselves to the current leaders, pursuing selfish ambitions at our own peril. They must wake up to the reality that the political temperature of E-karateng is changing and their irrefutable downfall is looming. By opposing an individual allied to our County Rep doesnt mean that I am opposing the latter. Infact I support and proudly voted Hon. Ombogo in. He is my leader now and I strongly respect and support him. The rumours going around that I and a the many friends of mine are against his leadership is uncouth, irrelevant and devoid of sense. Fellow Youths of N.W. Kisumu Ward, its our democratic right legalised and enforciable through any legal framework that our desires, especially being inextricable intertwined in terms of involvement in all county and CDF projects be honoured. This can be strongly achieved through political goodwill. We want leaders who can adequately represent us. We say no to political patronage and fixed favouritism in giving of tenders. I SAY NO! Lastly, this is my kind and heartfelt appeal to you. Lets respect and correct our current leaders and work with them in achieving what they promised to deliver to us. Lets not oppose those we think are organising themselves for the next general election. That means we are undergoing political maturity. ADVICE: to live a peaceful life, turn our enemies into friends.
