A nice little 7 step success plan from Craig Ballantyne. 1) Sit down and write out the vision for your family, life, and business. 2) Be clear, concise, and specific. 3) Set 3 short-term (30-day) and 3 long-term (90 day) goals that are process oriented, not just outcome oriented. I learned this powerful distinction from one of our TT Summit Keynote speakers, Alwyn Cosgrove. He explained: a) Process-oriented goals means: I will call 3 prospective local business joint venture companies each week. b) Outcome-oriented goals means: I will have 10 new clients. We focus on process goals because those are the things within our control. 4) Make a list of all the trainers you need to connect with at the TT Summit. (TTSummit) 5) Make a list of all the questions you have for each of them. 6) Make a note of how you can add value to THEIR lives, too. Maybe you can connect them to someone...maybe you can refer a friend to their online program...maybe you can take them a book they will love...maybe you can take them a Thank You card for a tip that you learned from them in the past. Any little thing will do. Its the though that counts. 7) Bring the positive energy. Personal trainers want to do business and become friends with high-energy, positive people that they can quickly know, like and trust. To succeed, this has to describe YOU. And I know it does. Surround yourself with people who are better than you...they will bring out the best in you. Keep letting (positive) people know about your ambitions, and they WILL go out of their way to help you. Trust me. And stay strong. If you take these steps you will get 100xs the value of your TT Summit travel investment. Attend the TT Summit and get on the path to Trainer Success. I really appreciate you being there and being part of the TT family. Stay strong and keep on pushing on. Craig Ballantyne, CTT Certified Turbulence Trainer PS. Join Craig Ballantyne, Bedros Keuilian, and Alwyn Cosgrove at the TT Summit June 6-7 in San Diego. ttsummit
