A nostalgic weekend filled with love and laughter sharing poignant memories with my people who speak my language. Flags flying proud for not forgotten heroes and lively but charming hooligans. The experiences we shared in our youth are unique to us and remembrance gives us a sense of community. Even though hundreds of us are complete strangers, if you smile or stop to chat with a Rhodesian, they will reciprocate - even Rhodie chicks that are cheeky meddems. We were looking forward to meeting old friends again and were surprised to make wonderful new friends. Thanks to the JB team for all your hard work and especially for arranging the perfect weather.
