A not yet Vegan friend wrote me with the following questions. I answered her, but was curious what you would of said. .. makes sense. Okay, so a couple more questions: How do you justify the fact that many many animals kill and eat other animals as the natural way of things? Why is that okay but its not okay for humans to do the same? (Barring cruelty, obviously, because cruelty is certainly Not Okay) Also, why is it okay to eat plants but not animals? There are many studies coming out that indicate plants are much more aware than what we thought - see the documentary what do plants talk about, amazing - so if the difference is awareness of what is happening to them, that is getting harder to justify. **Please be kind.**
