Veto Override Meeting Aug. 13 SVC Supporters: You showed up in remarkable numbers on July 23, when the Council tabled any possible veto override action. Even though no vote was taken, the strength of your presence was noted. At 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, the Council will take up the SVC matter again. This will be the last opportunity for them to vote for an override, so THIS IS IT! We need your help one final time to show the Council we have broad support for the stadium, and we believe they should overturn that veto. Please come out one more time — wear your SAU blue or AHS gear — and let everyone know we stand for progress, and we want the SVC plans to go forward. Thank you.
