A one-time supporter of George Zimmerman is now singing a different tune. Frank Taaffe, a former Zimmerman neighbor, now believes that the ex-neighborhood-watch captain racially profiled Trayvon Martin. The about face comes as Taaffe was called Wednesday to testify before a federal grand jury in downtown Orlando, Fla., in the civil rights probe of the shooting death of unarmed 17-year-old Martin. Taaffe reportedly told the panel that Martin did not “deserve to die” and that he now counts himself among those who believe the teen was racially profiled, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
