A parent asks our group: Hi. I really could use some words of hope right now, as feeling very alone and isolated. My 2.5yr old is non verbal and shows signs of SPD. My 10 yr old had SPD and learning difficulties. I am struggling as my husband has/is in denial, and my close family and some friends have distanced themselves from me. I feel terribly hurt and also scared for how I will find the strength to cope second time round should heaven forbid my 2yr old have same problems at school and I have little support. Ive started to distant myself from people as cant handle their insensitivity, and dont want to be let down yet again. Has anyone felt the same, or got any words of encouragement? Thanks
