A parent asks our group: Hi there! Ive been part of this wonderful page for about two years ago when we suspect my middle daughter has SPD. She was born premature and has developmental delays. Well, she is now 4.5yrs and we have been looking therapies since she was 5 months. During this past two years we could found Speech Evaluation and Therapy, Ocupational-Sensory evaluation and Therapy and Psicological evaluation and Therapy. They all agreed on the diagnostic, although none of them could write it down in papers. Last week we could found a Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician appointment, who evaluated my princess and the results are overwhelming for us. Six different diagnostics, and the need of more therapies and specialist. Here are the diagnostics she made: Pragmatic communication disorder, Communication disorder (3.5yrs), Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental coordination disorder(3yrs), Moderate hypotonia, feeding disorder of early childhood(related with sensorial issue). Any advice is very welcome. We have been working with her because she doesnt want to go and also she doesnt have the need to do #2(poop). We have done almost everything to help her regulate her intestinal system, but nothing works. This Neuro-Ped says this problem is related with the moderated hypotonia, she doesnt have the muscle strength to do it. What do you think that it could help?? Thanks a lot!!
