A parent asks our group: I am curious, can people provide me with examples of what their OT does with their children and what the goals of those activities are? My 4.5 year old son has been in OT since November and some of the time I think it is a great help, and some of the time I feel like the OT is just cruising through with no real goal or intention. Last week she mentioned that she is starting a project with him that is prepping him for discharge from OT, but we have barely scratched the surface of what we need to work on so I am wondering if maybe its time to look for a new provider.
