A parent asks our group: I am so new to SPD and dont fully understand it. My 31 month old had a speech eval to see if he will qualify for a first steps program for speech therapy. He is behind in speech but everything else he is fine in, he is all boy , rough, plays hard, doesnt listen well until you really get his attention and is a picky eater, wont try anything new....think he has a texture issue, doesnt have melt downs, just a little tantrum here and there..... does this sound like SPD?? My main concern is his speech...
