A parent asks our group: I have a 2 year old son and I suspect he has SPD Some of the signs he has been showing are : Cannot touch head, not even to wash his hair Cannot have hands/feet dirty Aversions to loud noises (i.e a train going by) Aversions to food textures (i.e he wont eat any kind of meat *only hot dogs sometimes not even that* or oatmeal or jello products) He is all about me and his grandmother He also is a very active child, and is always on the go. Few t.v shows get him to slow down He also does not have a desire to learn. I have sat down numerous times with him and he refuses. I know some of these signs may not be of SPD but I am at a concern for a few of them. My mom thinks I am completely insane for even thinking there is anything wrong with him. We just took a vacation over the weekend and a friend of mine witnessed him doing these things. I just would like some other parents advice as to if I should have him evaluated and how soon I should if need be. Thank you in advance.
