A patient came in today from South Africa. His chief complaint was migraines and tinnitus for the past 12 years. Migraines were 1-2x/per week and the tinnitus is constant. The cervical series showed a right spinous of 11. Although laterality was left he was corrected on both sides based on the BOW and the head tilt. One correction and the spinous went to left 1. Upper and lower angle corrected 86%. Symptoms of migraine are 100% relieved; tinnitus reduced 60%, ROM dramatic change. We have some work to do for stability but the QSM3 protocol that measures the compression and its effects is a progressive paradigm. A side note and most important is… I worked on this gentleman 5 years ago when I was certified in two other UC procedures and before the advent of QSM3.
