A perfect example of the community united! The community police officers and members of the Atty. Gen.s office in a game of kickball with the children and parents in the community! It doesnt get better than that! To spend an afternoon getting to know each other, building trust, so that together we can work on the issues that are facing our city, united! The Department of licensing inspection, constituent services, the Fire Marshalls Office provided education on fire safety, took place, as well as other organizations were present.The Wilmington housing authority, charter schools, affordable care information, there was a little bit of everything for everyone! It was just a perfect day all over our neighborhoods! From the cleanup at Tilton Park, community day at Kosciusko, the celebration and retirement of Miss Stella at the Knotty Pine… There was peace in our streets and unity in the community! I was so happy to be out and about among my constituents and the beautiful residents and people of our beloved City of Wilmington! The positive that we do have going on will always outshine the negative. You have to see the city from all angles Not just one-sided!
