A personal thought September 12, 2014 at 12:22pm Personal Thought by sister Vicki Years ago, I was blessed with a job in avionics. Unless I had to speak to another engineer, I could shut out all the gossip, complaining and trash talk, by tuning into a Christian radio station with my headset. They had a writing contest and I won CDs, and many gift certificates, that I gladly donated to our ministry. One of the prizes was a leather bound book entitled What if Jesus never lived and I was so conflicted about donate so I enclosed the winning writing in the book and asked Papa Can I donate this? He did not say no, He said not yet. So I added another writing. About what the world would be without Jesus. I pictured a Sodom and Gamorahh world, full of hate, greed, lepers, the blind, the lame and then I asked, What would be our purpose? I asked Papa, once again, Now can I donate it? He said not yet because He didnt say no, He said not yet I continued meditating on His Word and then I remembered the first four verses in the Gospel of John and it hit me. So I printed out the verses and in bold writing, simply wrote WE WOULD NOT EXIST and enclosed it in the book. Finally Papa said, Now you can donate it. John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being, that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the Life was the Light of men. Hallelujah!
