A personalised nutrition plan should be considered as merely a starting point for identifying if a specific nutrient intake is effective via: - calorie intake consistency - macronutrient distribution consistency This is achieved by attempting to eat the exact same thing daily, and then reassessing your intake based on results over time. A personalised nutrition plan is NOT a magic formula for success. It is simply a means to create structure - utilising a macronutrient breakdown assumed to be effective, and incorporating foods that you typically enjoy eating. I would consider it nothing more than training wheels for whats most important: sticking to a consistent & effective macronutrient intake and eating foods that you enjoy. What this means is; you should never be limited to eating the foods listed on a meal plan forever. Use it as a guide or sample of how you could effectively spread your daily nutrient intake over 4-5 meals, using foods that are nutritious and generally enjoyable. Track macros. Discover flexible dieting. Have greater control, knowledge & understanding. In times of doubt, refer back to the basic structure provided by a personalised nutrition plan. At the end of the day, the most important components of the nutrition plans I provide are the macronutrient targets & the linked videos on how to track macros and effectively incorporate flexible dieting. The very two components that often get overlooked when reviewing a plan.
