A persons vulnirability to temptations. Adam and Eve , our first parents, were driven away from the paradise of eden because of sins theycommitted. They were too weak to resist the temptation of satan in the guise of a snake. And that weakness were inherited by all their children except Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ and perhaps a few more. It is written that God commanded everyone to love, praise, honor, respect, glorify and worship Him and Him alone. And to love our neighbors as we love ourselves without reservation, condition and asking them a favor in return. Any thought, desire and act in violation to the foregoing contitutes sin.
