A phc I wrote for a fellow admin. “Hey Aimee wait up.” A voice called from behind her and Aimee found Rose jogging to catch up to her. Aimee slowed down for her best friend and started walking again when she caught up. “Are you headed to James study group?” Rose asked and Aimee nodded her head. “Of course.” She said. James had made a study group for his younger brother and quickly Rose, Aimee, and Scorpius had joined. Rose and Aimee chatted animatedly about what all had happened that day on their way to the library. Once there they were surprised to see all of the guys were there before them. “Since when do you guys get here early?” Rose asked Aimee standing beside them giving them a curious look. It was rather odd for them to be there first. “I asked them here early they needed some more work then you girls.” James said quickly but Aimee couldn’t help but notice the embarrassed look on Scorpius’s face that he didn’t get often. “Lets get started.” For the next hour they went over some potions homework that each of them were having difficulties with. Once it was finished Scorpius hastily left something that never happened. After studying they would usually go down by the lake till close to curfew. “Hey Albus what is the matter with Scorpius?” Aimee asked. She was worried about her friend and wanted to help him if she could. “I don’t know.” Albus said avoiding her eyes something he only did when he was lying. “Albus Severus why are you lying to me?” Aimee asked putting her hands on her hips. “I told him I wouldn’t tell.” Albus said looking at the ground. “If something is wrong with Scorpius I want to know so I can help.” Aimee said her tone softening she could never stay mad at her best friends. “All I can say is he likes someone and doesn’t know how to tell them.” Albus said and for some reason Aimee felt a pang in her chest. “Oh. Why didn’t he come to Rose or I for girl advice we are girls.” Aimee asked really wondering what was going on. Secrets were something new in this group. “I don’t know Aimee.” Albus said and though Aimee thought he was lying she let it go. It was something Scorpius obviously didn’t want to tell her and for some reason it irked her. Her best guy friend was hiding things from her, avoiding her, and the worst part was she couldn’t figure out why this bothered her so. “Still want to go to the lake?” Rose asked and Aimee put a smile on her face and nodded her head. Even if she was confused by Scorpius she wanted to spend time with her other friends. One the way down to the lake Aimee joked with everyone and they talked about Quidditch. Once at the lake they saw Scorpius already sitting there looking at the water. Upon seeing him the whole groups stopped. “Let me talk to him.” Aimee said and everyone nodded their heads agreeing with her. Aimee walked up and sat next to Scorpius. “If your having girl troubles you can talk to me.” She said softly as Scorpius turned to look at her. “No I cant.” He said shaking his head. “I thought we could talk about anything.” Aimee said hurt that he wouldn’t talk to her. “I cant talk to you because its you I like.” Scorpius said looking at Aimee for her reaction. It hit Aimee and she couldn’t help but smile. It was her. The pang in her chest that she had been feeling since the study group went away. It was her Scorpius liked her. “If you don’t like me I don’t want to ruin our…” He started and Aimee cut him off by leaning in and kissing his lips. When Aimee pulled back blushing Scorpius just smiled and pulled her in for another kiss. “OOOOOOOOO” They heard from behind them and turned to see their friends walking toward them. “Go out with me?” Scorpius asked quickly and Aimee nodded as their friends sat around them and they started joking about what they had seen. Scorpius slowly grabbed Aimee’s hand and she couldn’t help but look at him and smile.
