A picture from a trip to Tengger massif, East Java, Indonesia. Taken from the Hinduâes temple area at the Sand Sea facing the Bromo slope. Part of Tengger massif, Bromo is not the highest peak but arguably the most well known. After taking 30-45 minutes drive from the nearest village through Tengger slope and the Sand Sea to the Hinduaes temple located just at Bromo foothills, riding horses is one option tourist can take to climb up and down the Bromo slope to and from the stairway that will take you to the crater rim of Bromo. Dust kicked by the horses climbing up and down provides the dramatic scene. lightandcomposition/photo-of-the-day-july-13-bromo-hillside-by-ismawan-arief-ismail/
