A picture of the north side it is undated but the cars seem to be of the mid-thirties vintage. It show the new Conde Bank occupying the space that Rounds paint store once had. That , bank had at least three managers Earl Beartsch, Tom Ryan and Tom Bertsch. Some clerks but not all Leone Brown Henjum and Alys Cleveland Snyder. Some insurance agents Howard Sheppard, Bruce Herman and Bob Hildebrant. This seems to be the best picture I have of the Conde News office. Two storey building with living quarters up stairs. Some editors were Charley Foster, Ed Quinn, Ruth Hazen, Johnnie Hynes, Earl Burns and Leon Snowdon. The tree blocks out most of the rest of the block although I think the small building standing where Delbert Haskell built was once a bakery ran by a family name Brocks. The rest of the picture shows the building that Ola turned into a repair shop then Eldies house and towering above it the Bert Smith Mansion. The front edge of the picture shows the corner of the Little Inn and the small space leading to the back alley. Notice the bench in front of the hardware store.
