A piece of wreckage from the Twin Towers ends up looking like a cross and some people want it preserved as a sign from god and others want it removed as an overt religious symbol. All these folks should both take a reality check. It is a piece of wreckage, nothing more. Let it be. If some folks want to view it as a sign from god than let them. I would only ask those folks that if their god wanted to get involved in the 9/11 attack perhaps a better sign to show his compassion for people would have been to prevent those Towers from collapsing in the first place (saving thousands of lives) rather than sculpt a cross out of the wreckage.
