A plea for Sedrick: All, As you may remember, at the VERY last minute, Sedrick was saved from an almost certain death at a shelter after tragically losing his human who passed away very unexpectedly. Fast forward to today - and here is the latest on Sedrick’s current situation: He urgently needs funding to stay in low cost boarding, which will continue to keep him safe, until we find him a foster or furever home (which is obviously also DESPARATELY needed). Initially, some very kind hearted folks donated to get Sedrick vaccinated/neutered and into this low cost boarding facility. After the initial vaccination expenses, plus the prepayment of the 1st wk of low cost boarding, the original donations collected for Sedrick are almost gone – and the poor boy has not yet been neutered either . . so pls, Pls, PLS spread the word regarding this donation site that was very recently set up for Sedrick: shar.es/MRrzX - Again, the hope is to raise a few more dollars that are desperately needed be able to continue to keep Sedrick in his low cost boarding situation until we can find him a Foster or FUREVER home (AND maybe raise enough funds to get him neutered in the meantime as well – finger’s crossed).. BTW - the very KIND person that transported Sedrick to the Boarding facility had this to say about him: “I picked up our boy this morning at 10 am .. he is just sooo sweet! Loves belly rubs and giving slurpy kisses! He is just such a happy, friendly soul .. will be easy to rehome. He would be great with a family with older kids Seems to get along great with other dogs too .. big and small and rides nicely in a crate. Good leash manners too. He looks very healthy and has beautiful teeth. He is a very handsome dog! This is dog that will require no work to adopt out to some lucky human to be proud of! He is a great ambassador for the maligned breed!” So HOPEFULLY finding Sedrick a place, OUTSIDE of boarding, will be fairly quick and easy – Pls see Sedrick’s ADORABLE photo below – (GOTTA LOVE THAT GRIN)!!. . . and AGAIN, Pls, Pls, Pls kindly spread the word (via email, FB, whatever means possible) regarding Sedrick’s “donation site” (shar.es/MRrzX) as well as his URGENT need for a good home, or at least, a TEMPORARY Foster home – . . thanks again for ALL your help and your kind hearts . . and pls remember that EVERY dollar DOES help . .
