A plea from Zoe...only two days left. Hello Friends and Family, I hope the new year finds you and you healthy and happy. I am having a great start to 2014 as Im in my first season at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail and Im enjoying my snow sport and all that it has to offer! This season Ive placed in the top 10 in all my races; Super G, Slalom and Giant Slalom. I’m looking forward to my next slalom race in Crested Butte...slalom is my favorite. My goals for the season are to continue to hone my alpine racing skills, have all top 10 finishes at my races and also to qualify at the Prater Cup for Junior Championships again this year. Now that you have an update on me, I will get down to the real (and more difficult) reason I am contacting you. I really enjoy being a member at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail. This month, they are having their annual Month Long Bring it On fundraiser, raising money that goes directly to SSCVs scholarship funds, and no where else. I am trying to raise at least $250.00 I am currently in 6th place for total elevation skied but I need to try to raise money too. This club is helping to shape me as an athlete, student and person and I know that I will benefit from my experiences here for the rest of my life. Sorry this is such late notice but we thought my home page was set up and emails were sent weeks ago. We just found out differently, so this is a last ditch effort to make a contribution quickly. I only hope that any kid who longs for the opportunities I am so lucky to have is not held back from their dreams due to financial constraints. That is what this fundraiser is for. We love Colorado, the mountains, and the competitive, incredible snow sports in which we all are so fortunate to participate.
