A pleasant day sewing at the Abbey takes an ugly turn when we discover a very bad leak in our ceiling. The remainder of the day is spent moving everything out into the middle of the upper studio, purchasing towels to put down to try to soak up the bulk of the water, multiple phone calls and texts to owner and managers of building; then a parade of people in to oh and Ah at the mess, then leave looking anxious and overwhelmed. Sigh.....
