A poem for my mum on her birthday. I really dont want to cry today I really want to smile So Ill take a little walk then sit with you for a while. Ill tell you all the plans I make and all the things I do. All the times I laugh and cry when I think of you. Ill tell you about our Millie and what she gets up to, how every time she has a bath at ours she always does a poo. Of Zac and his music and strumming his guitar, lets hope he keeps it up cos one day he will go far. Ill tell you what we are doing our hopes, our dreams, our fears how well put the world to rights, ha ha never in a million years. Ill tell you about your children mam, Kev, Brian, Steve and me Ill pretend we are all kids again bouncing on your knee. before we all grew up and had children of our own. We left the nest and you behind to branch out on our own. Ill tell you about my children mam Kayla, Kerry, Dan and Luke the good times we have had and the bad. Then Ill sit and listen mam as the wind blows through the trees cos then Ill know your talking to me to put my mind at ease. Ill watch for all the butterflies and the feathers floating down, I swear to God Ill get them all before they hit the ground. I cant give you a party mam its far to far to go, but there is one thing I really want you to know. Hope you birthday is brilliant mum have a drink or two or three. Then when the sun parts the clouds I will know your smiling down on me.. Happy birthday from Julie, Kevin, Brian, Stephen, Ann, Kayla, Kerry, Amy, Daniel, Luke,Zac and Millie mops. xxxxxxxxxx
