A poem that I wrote for Someone That Was Very Special To Me!! The night we met was meant to be. We had so much fun it was hard to believe. God put us together in a dance. I made me want to take a chance. We were not out looking on that night. It seemed to be faith and it felt just right. I’m not sure why we were put together. I want to find out but I don’t want it to take forever. I don’t want to overwhelm you and keep telling you how I feel. I won’t tell you that I love you until I know that it is real. After, kissing you goodbye in the rain that night. All I have wanted to do is just hold you tight. It was before Christmas when I made me a wish. On Christmas Eve Santa came and finished his list. It was my wish that came true. Just getting to communicate with you. When you came and visited me at my house it was like a dream. I was so freaking excited and scared all I wanted to do is scream. You are on a journey and who knows where that will lead. I hope it finds you happiness and everything you need. He put you in my life for a reason and I keep on wanting to ask why. But, I don’t think it would be right to ask every time, I look up at the sky, You are one that I don’t want to lose too soon. Because right now I feel like I can touch the moon. I light up the room when I see your sweet smile. It makes me feel like an angel that has been sent down here for a while. I can’t help but wonder if you feel the same way. I am afraid to ask because I don’t want you to run the other way. I don’t want to run you off by telling you how I feel, I just need to tell you so you would know that it is real. I feel like I known you from somewhere. I guess with time I will be able to tell. Be my friend if that’s what we were meant to be. I’ll be happy because, I know God sent you for me. Annette Vickers
