You’re asking about the pledges made in not so distant past. Indeed! Taking your paltry lives in my two hands I’d been playing dice in the gambling ground. But how desolate the heart of a hero now! What that heart achieved and what it lost could I but reveal those secret messages to you ! But what is the need of them now? Where in endless course, the infallible chariot of eternity is rotating in its sequence, there, in the tiny fraction of time called past which pledge was fulfilled, and which was not what worth does it have now? Confined in relative time you’re unaware that the face of time is pointed towards futurity. This blissful world, this beautiful earth is of course meant for delectation. But one’s delectation is the fruit of sacrifice of the other. And in this earth where only the fittest survive you’re on the ground of sacrifice. O the multitude, who’ll take the course of sacrifice? and who’ll take that of delectation? In whose destiny is the consequence of whose actions? who will show the way? Bestow on the hands of your hero your cherished power. In the annals of time precedents are not few Where the king goes followed by the subjects, the preceptor goes followed by devotees, the epicurean goes followed by the munificent.
