A post from my buddy RJ Hobbs reminded me of a conversation I had with my son Joshua Madden when we were in the Rock-n-Hall of fame (an amazing place btw if you love music) and when we came acrossed Michael Jackson. And I was telling him about a show I saw on the Discovery Channel or Learning channel.... were they are talking about the origins of Dance. Actually almost 30 before Michael Jackson Bill Bailey performed the backslide. While no one knows who originally invented the backslide, it was a move that was performed as early as the late 1930s.
