A previously healthy 3 month old is rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive. Despite all efforts the infant dies 25 hrs after admission. No injuries are noted and the Doctor found no disease present. A. The lack of disease or injuries eliminates the Medical Examiner from being involved. B. The Medical Examiner has jurisdiction because of the length of time between onset and death. C. Due to no trauma or injuries the Medical Examiner will not be involved. D. The medical Examiner will be involved due to this being an unexpected death. E. the body surface will always show trauma in this type of death.
