A promise about COMPROMISE When you are tempted to compromise with evil.... The warning in Exodus 34:12 points out the danger of falling into a lifestyle of sin. The laws of society make you pay a fine or go to prison when you commit a crime because of the recognition that certain behaviors harm others. If those behaviors are left unchecked, rebellion and chaos will reign. God knows that certain behaviors not only harm you physically but also put your soul in mortal danger. That is why God warns you not to compromise with the evil that surrounds you.
