A properly installed child safety seat and restrained child saved the life of a 20 month old boy this morning in Fayette County State Police tell me. The boys mom lost control of her car on Dunbar Road in Dunbar Township, Fayette County. Police say the boys mom was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. Coming up at noon state police give us a close up look at the car and the safety seat. The trooper told me this should serve as a lesson to all parents that properly restrained seats DO save lives.
