A proud moment for our family... She arrived to the U.S. 8 years ago... Shes worked hard, applied herself. And in her relentless ways, persevered. She couldve fought to have ALL her credits transferred from a degree she was LITERALLY days to finish - her Bachelors in Business Administration at ESPE - when INS deadline for her to come was to expire, (she wouldve lost her visa otherwise.) It was a HARD decision, (years of sacrifice and study also) but one she does not regret. When they told her they would approve only a handful of credits, she decided to start from scratch to learn English well. TODAY, she walked to get her Bachelors degree in Management in Supervision and Management with a minor in Finances. And this... is my sisters story. Soraya Vallejo❤ SO incredibly proud of you, my sis! You are an example of tenacity, passion and love for learning. You are testimony that this country is for those who are willing to work hard and seize the opportunities to make a life here. Mostly, I love that you hold strongly the hand of our Savior Christ Jesus who blesses us with talents and gifts to live life beautifully. You are aware that it is with our life that we have the privilege of speaking loudly of His love, light and true freedom for the taking! To say we are proud of you is an understatement!
