A pyramid scheme is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment. My favorite topic, there is a lot wrong with this definition that the world knows network marketing as. Firstly, businesses cant be sustainable by doing NOTHING, if you classify network marketing as a scam because we recruit, then how about corporation jobs? McDonalds recruits the banks recruit... Why? Because they understand how business works. Secondly, pyramids basically insinuate that the top dawg makes the most money correct ? Sounds a bit like the classic 9-5 right? All of the companies Ive worked for, you might as well say its about whos the hungriest. I can tell you first hand that in this life, its ALL about the grind. If you dont have the AMBITION to WANT to work for what you want in life than yes, network marketing is not for you.
