A question: I recognize that this is completely hypothetical but lets assume you are presented with an animal product (meat or dairy or eggs) and you are told, and reasonably believe, that the animal involved was not subjected to *any* pain or distress during her/his lifetime and was killed deliberately (i.e., did not die of natural causes), but in an absolutely painless way in which there was *no* fear or distress. Would it be morally okay to eat the animal product?
