A question for my musical friends: Teaching myself to play guitar after a sabbatical of almost 2 decades. Listening to lots of music for inspiration. I am soaking my finger tips in apple cider vinegar now because they are all blistered from pressing those steel strings so long yesterday and today. Someone suggested I have the action lowered so I dont have to press so hard. If these blisters split I will be out of commission for playing and I can not have that. Any other suggestions? I have set up a proper lesson with my friend Jonathan for next week and I dont want to show up with bloody stumps!
