A question from a member: I have had lupus 23 years, this is only the second time I have had this problem and the first was when I had mesenteric vasculitis. I have severe pain and swelling in my right clavicle/collar bone that goes into my shoulder and down my chest. It gets so severe I cant even take a deep breath. When I take a shower, the water hitting the area absolutely kills me! There is no discoloration, only swelling. The doctors had no explanation the first time. It is only starting now, and I am afraid of how bad it may get. Has anyone had this problem? As an RN, I thought it may be referred pain from the gut. Thanks
