A question from our inbox: I delivered via unscheduled csection in November 2012 due to failure to progress after two hours of pushing. We are now trying to become pregnant again and I am very hopeful that my next delivery can be vaginal. In my research on vbac success rates related to cause for cesarean, Ive found a disheartening stat: 13% of women that reach Stage 2 of labor without progression achieve a successful vbac. homebirth.org.uk/vbchances.htm Does anyone know how legitimate this data is? Should I be as discouraged as I feel? Is anyone aware of more encouraging data or information that colors the outcome of this data? Thank you in advance!
