A quick note for you if youre new. First, welcome! Youll find the people here are very awesome. They are kind, supportive and all have amazing stories of their own. They are sharing and strong and also very human. Second, please feel free to share anything you find here and to participate in discussions. I know I always learn something worthwhile and new, and I am often astounded at the good advice or stories of triumph that come out of them. Third, we all have our own beliefs, non-beliefs and life codes. But one thing everyone follows is a very simple guideline: be kind. Assume the best. And be respectful of one another. If you dont like that, then you are in for some frustrating times if you choose to stay. :) Fourth, you have probably arrived here because of my wifes incredible story. If so, please know she is healing, she is strong and while our family has been through tough times, and we will see more ahead, we are happy and we are working hard to help one another, our communities, and the world. And last, I wish I could answer EVERY message sent my way but I am not always able to. Please understand. But I do try to address most of the bigger questions in my frequent posts. And I do, eventually, get to every message (thats the goal, anyway!) Thank you for being here. We value your presence and we are grateful youve decided to join our growing community. What most people dont know is that though we only number 34,000 at the time of this writing, were going to positively affect ten times that number, a hundred times that number, through the simple small acts of giving and kindness we try every day. As I said, it seems only the most solid and heart-filled and giving people tend to stick around. And so youve just joined a really phenomenal group of great and instant friends.
