A quick shotout to DJVLADER for enviting me to the Daddy Yankee concert in Köln. I had a blast! :) After recording so many songs Ive lost count, I ask myself what is there left to (write/sing) about? Is it just as simple as saying... - Nowadays is it that all people wanna do is party til they drop? - Do they wanna hear about someone elses break-up or love affair? If I (write/sing) mostly about these things I would consider myself superficial. - If I (write/sing) about being rich, money and the fast life, then I could say that Im promoting a covetous lifestyle, something that I know is not what any of us really need. - If I (write/sing) of spiritual things like God and Jesus Christ, then it may come off like Im preaching. How does one put out music that will have a chance to heal the broken hearted, without alienating the cynic? Some will say just write what you feel.
