A random treat; here is a sample of the written dialogue for Dragon Fantasy REMADE. The scene involves only two of the primary characters; both antagonists: Veryl and Vladimir. Veryl Have you much to say for yourself, my good wizard? Vlad ... Veryl Whats that? Savior got your tongue? Veryl Ah, right; the spell. I completely forgot. If youd be so kind as to forgive me... Vlad Why do you persist with this madness? You realize how flawlessly everything must fall into place for such a scheme Vlad to reach fruition, do you not?! Should the girl learn of your outlandish intentions, shes sure to discard her title. Veryl She shall not and will not. And my intentions arent outlandish, thank you. Ive more justification than half the dreamers of Veryl this land teeming with spoiled pigs. You call THIS madness? There are perfectly capable individuals out there who pray Veryl for the Three Kings to fetch their dinner for them because they are too lazy to stand! Veryl ... And theyre likely to do it, too. But us? No, no, no... A shelter or some food is far too much to ask. We should Veryl be satisfied chewing on the rotten slabs of meat and moldy lumps of bread that are thrown to us! We should be satisfied Veryl with being FORGOTTEN! Damn those kings, WE are just as much people as the humans of this world! Vlad ... Vlad Why do you keep me? If you must do this, then at least let me have no part in it! Veryl My good sir, Im afraid I cannot allow that; Id be hard pressed to find a man more powerful than the worlds greatest mage. Veryl Youre good--too good. The strain the magic yielding you to my every command places on my body is immeasurable. Veryl You could have killed me back in Old Yurudos. Its too late now, but it was indeed a possibility. Vlad Should I be flattered by your compliments? Never would I doubt there existing a mage more powerful and capable than I. Veryl So you had your doubts and lost the one chance you had as a result. Isnt that one of lifes many key lessons? Vlad We all make mistakes. Youre still in the process of making yours. No matter how justified you THINK you are, your actions Vlad will soon have the eyes of the Three Kings on you. May the Creator have mercy on you should that day come. Veryl Let them come! Im more than ready to host a gathering worthy of our overseers. When--if, rather--they do come, perhaps I Veryl will present the question plaguing my people since our conception: why were we forgotten? Think you theyll have an answer? Vlad You were not forgotten. Our overseers do not FORGET nor do they OVERLOOK; everything and everyone has a purpose. Veryl We are taught to pursue our dreams since we are barely able to walk. Im doing just that. The answers arent coming fast enough, and Veryl quite frankly, Im sick of waiting. Regardless, anything they said would be meaningless at this point. Vlad You are a fool, Veryl! A bloody- Veryl Enough of this! I thought you a smarter man than this, Vladimir; I truly did. It seems only those who were made to Veryl endure the pain we have could ever hope to understand. Have faith in your gods, and have faith in their divine purpose.
