A re-post since Jennifer Donnell could not read the DREAM JOURNAL version: This one starts out (as far as I can remember, that is, with me going out onto a cul-de-sac. There the actor from SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 2 (a movie Ive never seen, but know about because of the infamous Garbage Day! clip) appears and I know he is after me, for some reason. Sure enough, he appears, and in my subconscious dream mind I even see that Garbage Day! clip suddenly. I rush for a mini-bike and escape as he tries to grab me. Later, I am in a city and going out to the movies with my friend Beth M Boneless Ranch. But we intend to go to some high fancy preview of something to waste time beforehand. One of Beths friends really hates me. (this is played out in a slick gallery like home. The friend looks like a blond sorority princess and acts like J.R. Ewing.) She tells Beth that she will get her in the preview for free but, turning and glaring at me, she says it will cost me $1000.00. I tell Beth: Oh well, I guess I cant go. They leave and now I see this highly stylized city through a window. It has one road going in and it is like Oz, only gleaming silver and composed of nothing but skyscrapers. I suddenly remember that the Garbage Day! man is still out there and has a grudge against me. Suddenly, I see the cities skyscrapers explode and tumble and crash into each other and I know its the work of the Garbage Day! man. (I should note the cities demolition looked like something out of a 40s FLASH GORDON serial, but crisper and cleaner) My first thought is that Beth better be all right. I mutter a really stupid threat under my breath if she isnt. Then Im surrounded by police who know that the Garbage Man! is after me. The chief inspector (in a trench coat no less!) goes through great pains to secure the building, but the Garbage Day! man gets in anyhow. Yet his game now, is trying to pin his crimes on me! He tries to frame me. His face tanned now to the point of almost being Orange. He fails and the police cuff him and take him, but he escapes again. Even later, I am outside and driving. I accidentally pass him crossing the street. This time he made a mistake: he did not intend to be seen and looks surprised, The hunter has now become the hunted! He runs off, frightened. (I never did find out if Beth had made it out of the rubble, and I think he senses I am going to kill him-which, in fact, I intend to do) As I chase after him, the dream shifts, and now I am part of a team (all of us dressed as Road Warriors) thats trying to survive a brutal game. The problem is, we were a team only to eliminate the competition, but now its realized that the only competition that remains, is us. Just as this realization happens to one blonde girl, as we are moving past a long, dull, cement wall (already messed up, one of the blonde girls eyes is big and white with no pupil) a dark haired, pony-tailed female warrior appears behind her. The dark haired warrior girl pulls out a round saw blade and flings it at the blonde girl. The saw blade cuts into the top of the blonde girls head. I see the scalp slowly peeling off and tumbling to the side as the saw blade exits and... suddenly I wake up. I have one other dream after that. It involved playing music at a party for older folks. I have a floor really going but it is too dark in the room, and I have a hard time seeing and finding the next song, which I want to be Rock Around The Clock. (for some reason Im typing in 50s) Yet the first dream lingers on in the back of mind, none of it had any good resolutions for me, left me with too many questions; did Beth survive? Was the Garbage Man! ever caught, and did he pay for his crimes? Did I survive the game, or would I have been next on the saw parades greatest hits?
