A reader asks I live in New York in a small village called Monticello. I am posting because I need advice from other parents who have a developmentally challenged child. My 3 year old son has yet to be diagnosed with anything, but is showing signs of autism and has numerous failed m-chats. I am trying to seek out a behavioral and developmental pediatrician, but it is extremely hard because not many places take his insurance or they are not accepting new patients. Does anybody know if a pediatric neurologist would be able to help get me in the right direction?
