A really great night at the Son Ada pilot event at Seventeen last night, showing a taster of some of the exciting creativity happening in our city. But in true dour Aberdonian style, Comprende Records founder Jim Ewen made no mention at all of the Tides Compilation album just released, and didnt play any of the tracks in the breaks as far as I could hear.... come on Jim, get on it! We should be crushing this stupid Tall Poppy syndrome on the head, and really shouting about what we do up here. Whats happening now is really exciting and we need to build on this and keep the momentum going. Whats next?
