A really hilarious story from my family: My family is funny, and my Aunt Adarene, who passed away today, was right up there with the rest. She lived in Nacogdoches with her cat, Alice. Alice was her pride and joy. Aunt Adarene was driving home one day down a busy street near her house and saw Alice dead in the road. Crying, she stopped and loaded Alices body into her car and went home. She pulled into her garage, opened her car door, heard, Meow!, looked down....and there was Alice, alive as could be! Aunt Adarene looked at the cat on her car seat, said, Oops, and drove back to the busy street, putting the dead cat right back where she found her! Only in my family!!! (Alice is alive and well, 15 years old, and lives with my cousin Patty, Adarenes daughter.)
