A realtor offers me 12,500 less my list price. She then continued by consoling me for the current market values as they are, and how unfortunate that we are in a loss situation. I then told her my final bottom line and that she will need to take 2% as opposed to the standard (not mandated!) 3%. She said, I cant do that. I said, why. She said, this is my livelihood. Hello pot, Im kettle. She quickly moved on. I think she caught up to the irony. I respect their profession, but I also have respect for my bottom line.
