A recent article has been published in the NZ Herald regarding poor quality face paint being sold in NZ. Imaginaire would like to assure you that for our Face Painting we use only the highest quality, professional water based cosmetics and cosmetic glitter imported from the USA and Europe, designed especially for Face and Body Art. The Face Paints we use are actually a high quality make up, they are non-toxic, hypo allergenic, comfortable to wear and most importantly safe for the skin. When people ask us about face paint quality and its importance; I always tell them this story told to me a couple of years ago by a bouncy castle company owner. He told me he was wary about allowing face painted children on his castles, due to a number of incidents where certain face paint had rubbed off on his castles and he was unable to remove it. It’s very scary to think that this kind of Face Paint which couldnt be easily removed from a plastic bouncy castle was being used on children’s faces. The Face Paint we use can be easily removed from the face with baby wipes or warm soapy water.
