A reminder...Not every woman is a mother. Some women choose to be mothers, others are mothers by accident. Some women try desperately and for some reason are unable to mother. Some women choose to mother pets, students, rocks, plants, spouses, nieces and nephews and even themselves. Some men are better mothers than women. MOTHER is an archetype as much as it is a job or social designation. PLEASE be compassionate and kind to the women in your life who do not fit the mother mold that so many of us assume is the only way to be a mother.
