A reminder from the Singapore Ministry of Manpower: The Singapore Ministry of Manpower Services Centre (MOMSC) will be enhancing its appointment system starting from 16 December 2013 in order to enable clients to see an MOM officer at a faster pace. Currently, customers who visit the MOMSC without an appointment may expect to wait for up to two hours before they meet an officer. With the new system, customers with an appointment made will not need to wait longer than 30 minutes to see an MOM officer. They can access appointment.mom.gov.sg to make appointments for the following issues: - Salary matters and employment related claims - Work Permit cancellation or resignation dispute with an employer or worker MOM will continue to serve customers who visit the MOMSC without an appointment, but they may expect to wait as priority is given to those with an appointment.
