A reminder to everyone - Darren Wilson wasnt up for sentencing upon last nights decision. It was merely a decision on if the case should go to trial or not. A decision before the decision. In 2010 only 11 of 162,000 cases werent indicted, and thus didnt go to trial. 0.006% of cases. Thats such a small amount. And yet this one....this murder...gets to join those ranks. It doesnt go to trial. Also a thing to note - the prosecutor of this case was the same police department that started a fundraiser that raised over $400,000 for Darren Wilson. The prosecution didnt even want a trial to happen. Ive seen Darren Wilsons injuries. Ive seen analysis after analysis. Ive also seen so many stories of when armed white men have been brought into custody alive. Dont tell me this isnt murder. Dont tell me this isnt racism. And dont you dare tell me that Mike Brown deserved to be killed. For all who are out protesting the injustice - stay safe, stay peaceful, protect each other.
