A remix Chasing the Sun from our EP eVe featuring only acoustic elements. On Being Human might be mostly known for our hard rock and electronic elements we wanted to showcase another side our of sound. We wrote this song as a part of the soundtrack to the film Lockdown: Red Moon Rising, produced by Innovation Films in Qatar. Chasing the Sun was based on a song from the score called Amna that heavily featured strings and piano, so when it came to flesh out the production of Chasing the Sun we wanted to maintain a similar texture. We built out the song with acoustic guitars/pianos/banjo and strings and had the opportunity to work with the Fall of Ai Chamber Orchestra to have a real 24 piece string section in addition to our regular band elements. This mix just features the acoustic elements, predominately the strings and vocals, of that mix to provide a different listening experience of the song. Enjoy!
