A report on Taktsang trail clean up campaign has been submitted to Paro Dzongkhag and Tourism Council of Bhutan on how to curb the waste problems along with simple solutions e.g. responsibility and who should be responsible. Now it is the responsibility of individual to ensure it is kept clean and dont have to conduct another clean up as it costs a huge sum. TCB agreed to implement the most immediate requirements for this trail and will be done immediately. Such as lockers will be refurbished, toilet in taktsang lhakhang will be revamped, dustbins will be placed on strategic places which will be handed over to two institutes to responsibly emptying it. There is no one magic medicine to cure all the problems BUT at least we can try to achieve our goal of Zero Waste Bhutan. Whilst the other recommendation will be done soon also in collaboration with Paro Dzongkhag.
